This is a sad but also exciting new adventure to me. I was very upset to leave my family of coworkers of the past 3 years that also where my family before I left to go to design collage in Chicago for 2 years. In total 5 of the last 7 years have been spent with these people.
I have learned allot in the world of design through this job in all things home finishings, from window and wallcoverings, floor coverings to all things kitchen and bath. I worked in every department of the store really rounding off my knowledge to selecting just the right product for your home.
I will miss you old job, coworkers and customers all but I am not dwelling in the past but looking to the future and what it will bring me in this exciting world of possibilities.
I don't know what I will be doing next but I am keeping busy working on getting UrbanPosture even more developed as a possible full time money making business for me and Sarah as well as searching for other new work opportunities. I am not limiting myself to design so if you have any ideas or possibilities for me I would love to hear from you. My mom had the craziest notion that being a taxi driver could even be fun, which I find as something I could possibly enjoy.
So in my new adventures and opportunities I want to live with this idea:
