Market Day

Sarah and I have decided to join in on a fabulous new event starting up next weekend called Market Day (being hosted by Market Street Media Foundry next Saturday May, 30th from 9am to 2pm). We will be bringing out all our new merchandise from our UrbanPosture: Black Forest line as well as a few new items that we have made since our last showing at Craft Saturday. We have a new/revamped design that will be available on t-shirts and tea towels.

Crochet Apple Cozy D.I.Y Night

A lot of people ask me what is that for?

Well, once I explain it to them it makes a lot more sense. This great little handy apple cozy helps protect your apple from all those bumps on the way to work. I always grab my apple out of the fridge when running out the door to work every morning and throw it in my purse. In the past my apple would get so many bruises and nicks and now it stays in perfect shape in it's little protector. So now that I have sold you on the apple cozy, you will wish you would have been able to come join us in learning how to crochet and start making your very own cozy.


We had a nice, small crowd, just what we needed for the project because learning the craft of crocheting can be a little difficult. Back in the day I started out with crocheting because I could wrap my mind around the concept before I ever could understand knitting.

Summer Shoes

I've been meaning to get a pair of TOMS for the past 2 years and I feel that they are very much a Spring/Summer shoe here in the Midwest. What do you think of these?

Thought of the week on another one of my Polaroids I took at the arboretum.

Oh Spring.

Enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon walking through the Arboretum with Jason. I was able to capture some of the blooms with my Polaroid.

These folks were sitting under the large tree just enjoying the day and the company. They looked so lovely. We should have done the same. I don't know why I didn't think of it.

UrbanPosture Unveiled

I know all of you have been wondering what Sarah of Good Posture and I have been doing with all our extra time lately.

Well, we have combined our creative talents and have began a new line of screen and blocked printed housewares, office supplies, and apparel. Not only did we combine our talents but also our name. Urbanestics + Good Posture = UrbanPosture!

Last Saturday we showcased all our new and some of our old merchandise at a local craft event called Craft Saturday.

Here is Sarah and I as well as Erin of SoZealous, who we where so lucky to be able to share booth space with.
